The 2022 Social Report of the Amplifon Foundation is now available online, a fundamental tool to narrate and share our commitment to empowering and ensuring inclusion.

The activities carried out within the "Ciao!" project engaged more than 150 elderly care facilities throughout Italy in 2022. We offered a rich array of content and recreational activities, including classical music concerts, yoga classes, digital travels, and much more. These initiatives had various positive effects on the well-being of residents, staff, and local communities, as confirmed by the Project Impact Analysis conducted by CERGAS SDA Bocconi.

An increasingly central role in the activities of the Amplifon Foundation is played by volunteers who, within the scope of our projects Let's Dream, Ciao! C'è un regalo per te, and Viva gli Anziani, contribute their enthusiasm to create moments of joy and carefree moments for the elderly participants in the realities collaborating with us, from the facilities involved in Ciao! to the Sant'Egidio Community.

We also extend our gratitude to the companies, associations, and foundations that serve as partners, supporting us daily in making our projects possible and achieving our goals. It is together, and thanks to them, that in just three years of activity, we have reached over 15,300 direct beneficiaries.

Thanks to our efforts, we aim to give a voice to the elderly and raise public awareness about the importance of their role and intergenerational dialogue. This has been exemplified by initiatives such as the InsideOut installation, which took center stage in Milan's Piazza Duomo at the beginning of the year, and Mission Friendship, a special edition in collaboration with the Geronimo Stilton Foundation, not commercially available.

In 2022, attention was also directed towards the civilian population in Ukraine affected by the conflict. In response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, the Amplifon Foundation and Amplifon acted promptly in support of UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. In February 2022, Amplifon donated one million euros to UNHCR, facilitated by the coordination of the Amplifon Foundation. This donation was followed by a fundraising campaign involving individuals within the Amplifon group.

In the coming months, we will continue to strengthen the community built around Ciao!, allowing residents of the facilities to once again feel like active members of society. We will also highlight their wealth of stories, knowledge, and teachings. Additionally, we will work towards bringing the Italian experience to other countries.
