The Amplifon Foundation officially inaugurated the start of the “Ciao!” Project in Paris today in partnership with Notre Dame de Bon Secours, a nursing home which cares for more than 240 elderly through residential facilities, a day center, and independent residences.

Ciao! Project (which is called Voilà! In France) involves nursing homes in France to improve the quality of life and support the dignity of the elderly by providing them with interactive experiences, such as virtual tours and yoga classes, which Amplifon Foundation provides to nursing homes.

This event was the foundation’s first step expanding into France after already making great impacts across Italy, Portugal, and Australia. Amplifon Foundation President Susan Carol Holland gave a welcome speech during the event where Amplifon Foundation Managing Director Maria Cristina Ferradini, Amplifon France General Manager Amaury Dutreil, a representative from the Italian Embassy, and the 14^th Arrondissement of Paris were also present.

After the speech, seniors attending the event had the opportunity to enjoy a virtual yoga class. Later, elderly participants from Italian and Portuguese nursing homes virtually met their new French friends by giving them a warm welcome to the project.
