"My life has been full of both happy and sad moments—children, grandchildren, my husband, losses and victories. I am only partly independent now, walk with difficulty and do not hear well, but I am still curious and eager to learn. Until a few years ago I attended the University of the Third Age, and although I can no longer do that, I enjoy the activities here and still love reading. I would love a beautiful poetry book about love and friendship."
